Opus VIThis model results from the encounter between the brand and two extraordinary watchmakers, Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, the latter being a specialist in the restoration of antique models and the creation of repeating, chiming and perpetual calendar watches. Within six months, they created the sixth Opus model for Harry Winston, who had entrusted the five others to a succession of equally famous watchmakers: Fran?ois-Paul Journe, Antoine Preziuso, Vianney Halter, Christophe Claret and Felix Baumgartner. The tourbillon of this latest Opus watch moves freely within its cage, free of any gear train. To enable the balance to oscillate constantly on all planes, an Emotion 30° module was specially devised with a 30° angle. In this way, the compensation for differences in rate due to gravity is not restricted to the vertical plane. The display of the hours, located in off-centred apertures, constitutes an original feature that perfectly complements the overall effect.
